Sarrah serves as Marhub’s full-time Executive Director. Previously, she launched a seed accelerator for tech startups in Sri Lanka. Passionate about driving social innovation across sectors, Sarrah has worked at Grameen Bank, the Global Fund for Women, Stanford's Center for Social Innovation, Sri Lanka's Health Ministry, and Brandix. Sarrah has a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

A fundraising professional with over three decades of experience, Erin has managed large-scale fundraising projects, and institutional capital campaigns in support of higher education, healthcare, arts and cultural organizations and non-profit organizations. Before joining Marhub, Erin was the Director of Development and External Outreach at the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML) at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota where she led HMML’s most successful fundraising campaign from 2009-2017, raising over $20.2M--24% over the campaign goal of $16.2 million.

Xiaoxiang is a junior at Cornell University where he studies information science. He aspires to become a data scientist upon graduation. At Cornell, he serves as an undergraduate teaching assistant for an introduction to data science course, and also conducts research at the HCI Design Lab. At Marhub, he uses machine learning methods to improve the accuracy of refugees' vulnerability screenings through survey data and demographic data. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton and pool.

Mohamed Khelifi is 27 years old and is a law school graduate from Penn State Law and the University of Carthage. Mohamed worked in a human rights organization for many years focusing on anti-corruption as well as fighting torture and impunity. He was also awarded the Rambourg Foundation Award for Art and Culture in 2016. Additionally, he has published two books.

Zahabiya has worked in development, policy and legal research in Sri Lanka since 2015. Her work has covered UNHRC Resolutions, military profits, environmental public-interest-litigation and wider transitional justice concerns. She has also worked extensively in communications for NGOs and think tanks. More recently she has focussed on writing about the female BAME experience in her native UK, South Asian politics, culture, and commentary for an array of media outlets. Adam Sella is a rising junior at Harvard College studying Comparative Literature and Philosophy. He is especially interested in the ways exile, migration and statelessness in the Middle East and Europe are portrayed in literature. On campus he also works as a tour guide at the Harvard Art Museum. In high school, Adam founded Students Together Assisting Refugees (STAR), an organization that raised scholarship funds and awareness for refugees in the US.

Katerina Linos’ research and teaching interests include international law, comparative law, European Union law, and migration law. In 2017, Linos was awarded a Carnegie Fellowship for her research on the European refugee crisis. She is investigating how communication barriers frustrate fundamental rights, and exploring the potential of new technologies to facilitate refugee and migrant integration. Her research in Greece highlights information barriers that prevent refugees exercising legal rights. She holds a J.D. and Ph.D. from Harvard, and was a junior fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows.

Carolina Cruz-Neira is a pioneer in the area of virtual reality and interactive visualization, having created and deployed a variety of technologies that have become standard tools in industry, government and academia. She is world-known by being the creator of the CAVE virtual reality system, which was her PhD work. Her work with advanced technologies is driven by simplicity, applicability, and providing value to a wide range of disciplines and business. This drive makes her work highly multidisciplinary and collaborative, having received multi-million dollar awards from the National Science Foundation, the Army Research Lab, the Department of Energy, Deere and Company, and others.

Lama Fakih is Human Rights Watch’s deputy director of its Middle East and North Africa division, and she is the director of the Beirut office. Prior to her current role, Fakih was a Senior Crisis Advisor in Amnesty International’s Crisis Response Program and was Human Rights Watch’s Syria and Lebanon researcher from 2011-2015. Previously, she worked as the Gender, Human Rights and Counter-Terrorism Fellow at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ) at the New York University School of Law.
